An old formula with the mysterious name "Volkamaria" was the starting point for this voyage of discovery, where the story of a long forgotten flower is brought back to life. The plant "Volkameria Fragrans" borrowed its name from some compositions of large perfume houses around the turn of the century, but was soon forgotten; probably because the plant does not grow at our latitudes, but belongs in a tropical climate. To decipher the scent of the exotic Volkameria Fragrans, seeds were specially flown to Vienna and brought to bloom.
The composition is strongly based on the floral, powdery theme of the original formula and is one of the few fresh iris notes on the market today. You'll notice a hint of green mandarin in the top note, and a creamy, powdery hint of white chocolate in the heart.
