When using for the first time, let your candle burn until all the wax has become liquid on the surface to prevent the wax from hollowing out and forming a pit around the wick. Before each lighting, shorten the wick to 3mm to avoid any smoke. Your candle will burn evenly if you ensure that the wick is straight and centred when you extinguish it.
