Referencing the name of the very first fragrance of the brand, Sillage Royal, and echoing classic vetiver-centered masterpieces, SILLAGE X captures the eagerness and optimism for life’s upcoming adventures through a suave, gender-fluid blend of vitalising, rejuvenating notes. The fragrance further reflects some of the fondest scent memories of founder and creative director, Manos Gerakinis: the kind of refined, “masculine” marketed perfumes that fascinated him as he was growing up —fragrances that many women, too, loved wearing, defying gender labels.
A blast of radiant, sun-kissed Mediterranean citruses (bergamot, lemon, mandarin) paves the way for the uplifting freshness of the vetiver, the star ingredient of SILLAGE X. A halo of stimulating, yet comforting spices (black pepper, cardamom, fennel seed) adds tonifying energy, while the soulful aura of the orris teases out the vetiver’s rooty aspect.
