A tribute to the painting of the Japanese bridge by Claude Monet. This creation is the result of a dialogue between perfumers, historians and artists, and depicts a wooden bridge after a summer rainstorm whose drops of water evoke the invigorating scent of lush, green nature.
This version of the Japanese Bridge is distinguished by a purple and red touch that suggests the vegetation of a budding autumn and the scent of damp earth through the use of galbanum, basil and tree moss.
"Japonism is translated here into a flowing, minimalist and structured composition. The pond, surrounded by willows and irises that reflect in the water and merge with water lilies, inspires me to create a transparent and steaming floral accord, crowned with a vegetal and woody note. The fragrance is built around this contrast, where green predominates, where nature blends with its reflection". Marie Schnirer, Maelstrom perfumer.
