Founded in 1827 by François-Étienne Violet, the Violet perfumery made its mark on the French cosmetics industry. Holder of several patents, including one for thridace soap, the company won several awards during its existence. Based in Paris at several addresses, Violet was best known for 12 boulevard des Capucines.
Victorien, Anthony and Paul, refounders of Maison VIOLET
It was on the benches of the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris that the story of VIOLET took its new course in 2017. Anthony, Paul and Victorien, all passionate about perfume, shared the ambition to infuse their common vision with emotion, creativity and a wealth of ingredients. Their desire led them to Maison Violet. Fascinated by the heritage of this perfumery and the values it transmitted, they decided to pay tribute to it by reviving it while perpetuating its mission: to defend artistic perfumery. By awakening this sleeping beauty, they are reaffirming its prestigious heritage while bringing a modern vision of a rich and imaginative perfumery.
Once the official supplier to Empress Eugenie and Queen Isabella II of Spain, MAISON VIOLET is now a responsible and committed brand. The company creates exclusive, unique fragrances for people who are looking for creativity and quality, who want to stand out from the crowd and assert their personality.
