Louise Huyghe grew up in Brussels, a city of striking contrasts. Its streets are an eclectic tapestry where futuristic glass towers stand beside gilded grandeur and rough graffiti. 

Her work mirrors this dynamic juxtaposition, embracing loose connections and gentle associations. Through her lens of “fantasy archaeology,” Louise is particularly drawn to the fragments of history that remain alive in our collective memory. She explores artefacts that have shaped our personal lives, pieces brimming with connotations, memories, and atmospheres.

For Louise, jewellery and scent are the most evocative tools of storytelling. Jewellery is worn close to the body, passed through generations as tangible tokens of connection, while scent possesses the rare ability to awaken forgotten moments and emotions.

After completing her studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven, Louise pursued a master’s degree in accessories at La Cambre in Brussels. There, she reimagined the shape of scent, crafting innovative, poetic, and intimate adornments that blur the boundaries between memory, art, and wearability.
