During the crossing of the Madura Strait between Bali and Java by Jukung (a type of canoe), Caroline Lehembre, the creator of Anoq, discovers a small Indonesian fishing port next to Surabaya.
It is in this inspiring place, conducive to letting go and reflection, that the idea and the desire to share her story and her travels through decorative and scented objects came to her. It all starts in 2014.
