Following the success of the limited edition perfume DOULEUR!, a collaboration between Antonio Gardoni and tattoo artist Freddie Albrighton, they decided not to reproduce the same perfume, but to come up with a new version: DOULEUR!2.
A dense, tropical water blasts out of DOULEUR!2. Is it cucumber or melon? This is amplified by camphorous tea tree and a double dose of sweet, candied mint.
Underneath this, a hazy, lactonic impression of a white floral, that doesn’t quite smell like jasmine, or ylang ylang, but something completely new.
The metallic rose from the first Douleur! has been tamed and evolved into something totally transparent. You get the sensation of a hologram of metallic pink over the perfume.
It’s radiant, settling into a somehow milky, rich aquatic and solar floral, with a spike of metal and salt. Balsamic resins, benzoin and civet at the end leave the distinctive scent of sunburnt skin.
Douleur! accord, metallic rose, jasmine ?, mint candy, tea tree, water, oyster, civet, resins
